Kenwood KX-900

I have owned this deck since 1984 and except for replacing the belts it has been a quality machine from day 1 and still performs very well.

I use the best tape { maxell ud xl II } even though it is only a 2 head machine I never have to worry it will record and play back with no loss in quality.
