- Recently bought the deck from e-bay.
- Thouroughly cleaned and demagged. Sound quality on cheap tape awful close to CD. Recording made with Dolby inactive. Shop around, ask lots of questions. Prices all over the map. Some units look like they have been used as road gear and want 600.00. My deck is mint minus 1 small scratch and paid 125.00. Pays to shop around. Use your watch list on e-bay for units you may be interested in then read carefully and start weeding them out. Be patient. New listings daily. Regards.
